Brothers

These two handsome little men showed up on my doorstep this morning. They happen to be two of the four most handsome nephews I have ever met. Yes, the photos of them are precious, but what was most precious to me as their auntie, was that I got to snag a 1/2 hour alone with each of them this morning. That doesn't happen often since I'm usually chasing my own 4 hoodlums about. Just sitting and editing the photos brought me such joy. They are such gifts and being so adorable is the cherry on top!

6 Month Old Kate

6 months ranks high on my list of favorite ages. The little ones are so curious at this age. Kate was so intrigued by everything around her during her photo shoot. It is fun to see her little mind taking in and absorbing every little detail. She did a magnificent job and was a pro at flashing those beautiful blues!

Mya is back

Somehow 3 months flew by and Mya was back this afternoon for her 9 month photos. She is one happy, content little girl who will share her dimples with anyone. She is pulling up on objects and even took my breath away when she let go of the chair prop at one point. She is a delight and one sweet little model!

Easter Chicks

A New Genre

This morning was a chance to try shooting a new genre, that of promo shots for this beautiful lady. So different to have a chance to shoot an adult. They do what you want the first time you ask and they smile on command too. It is almost like cheating, and since Sheila has modeling experience, she was so natural.

Sisters

I know firsthand how precious sisterhood is and today I was able to shoot some photos of two little ladies that will one day know that joy as well. Here is 3 year old Mara and her 3 month old sister Kate. Kate was such a willing subject, never complaining about where I tossed her, crunched her or flipped her.

Big sister Mara was much more interested in the toys and kids having fun in the basement. She was, for lack of a better term, 100% THREE!

But I have a few tricks up my sleeve too (and so did mom and grandma), so we were able to catch a few clicks of her contagious smiles!
