Celebrating One Beautiful Year!

One year ago this world was blessed with two little cuties. I was so honored to be asked by each of their parents to take their photos to mark this big milestone. Brown-eyed little Rigo had facial expressions that would make anyone smile and eyelashes that just go on and on. Then there is Mya. To date I have never seen little Miss Mya in a sour mood. She has this modeling thing down to a "T". I point the camera at her and she just hams it up!

Two Newborns in One Week

You see, I think this whole obsession with photography is really only because it is me secretly finding my way to get my hands on these little newbies! This little man named Alec knocked on my door this afternoon and came ready to model. He was so snoozy and so good. He and baby Kinley (see following shoot) were born just 3 days apart and were the two little lives we had prayed for in our small group for quite some time. Mitch and I reveled in the fact that we were able to travel up to the hospital twice in a week for answers to prayer, rather than visiting someone in the hospital for a prayer request reason! Precious Alec, we are so glad to have you in our midst!

Newborn Perfection

It is true that I have a baby addiction, so when given the opportunity to photograph an adorable newborn, I naturally couldn't keep my excitement under control. Now, add to that, the fact that this little baby girl has been the center of our prayers for well over a year. She truly is God's perfect miracle! Miss Kinley is God's newest princess, she belongs to the King of Kings!

These two handsome little men showed up on my doorstep this morning. They happen to be two of the four most handsome nephews I have ever met. Yes, the photos of them are precious, but what was most precious to me as their auntie, was that I got to snag a 1/2 hour alone with each of them this morning. That doesn't happen often since I'm usually chasing my own 4 hoodlums about. Just sitting and editing the photos brought me such joy. They are such gifts and being so adorable is the cherry on top!

6 Month Old Kate

6 months ranks high on my list of favorite ages. The little ones are so curious at this age. Kate was so intrigued by everything around her during her photo shoot. It is fun to see her little mind taking in and absorbing every little detail. She did a magnificent job and was a pro at flashing those beautiful blues!
